Born in Valencia, she is a member of the Gerona Bar Association since 1984 and the Barcelona Bar Association since 1991. She obtained a Law Degree from the Valencia University. She graduated in Legal Practice from the Valencia Bar Association. Since then, she has focused in family law successions for over 25 years, developing her expertise in international family law and international child abduction.
She has been a lecturer of Family Law at the Masters’ Degree on Private and International Law offered by the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía in Barcelona. She has also been a lecturer at the Legal Practice School of the Barcelona Bar Association. Inmaculada has published articles in various law journals and has been interviewed in radio and television. She has been a speaker in national and international conferences on family law.
Inmaculada started her practice in Gerona and was an associate in Estudio Jurídico Sancho-Vallet from 1991 to 1997. Later on, she was a partner of Sangrá Inciarte, Uriz & Ruz until 2008, and the head of the Zarraluqui Abogados firm in Barcelona.
She is a member of the family law commission of the Barcelona Bar Association, the Spanish and the Catalonian Associations of Family Lawyers, and the Committee of STEP Spain. She currently presides the family and matrimonial law section of the Barcelona Bar Association.
