Registration Application Form As Partner Of The International Family And Succession Law Forum (FSI)
The criteria to become a member of the association is as follows:
They must be practising lawyers who are (1) members of any Bar Association in Spain, (2) specialised in family and succession international law, (3) with a law firm, (4) and with an active email account.
The expertise shall be accredited by (1) having practised for over 10 years and (2) having undertaken cases of family and/or succession law with an international element. This will be detailed in the application form, accompanied by the appropriate references.
Annual membership is 150€?
The association will not admit any member who is involved in a procedure for incompatibility or incapacity according to the Spanish Lawyers’ Code of Practice.
Applicants will be admitted by the Committee by a three-fifths majority after receiving a duly completed application.
Members will lose their condition (1) on their own accord after a formal request addressed to the president of the Committee, (2) after ceasing to meet any of the established membership criteria, (3) after infringing the obligations established in the Articles of association, and/or (4) after a three-month default on the subscription fee.
The FDFSI aims to create a forum to debate, study and analyse matters of international succession and family law.
